I run in. I'm late again. I forgot about my night shift. I pass one of my coworkers. They give me a scolding look. I ignore it.

Joey drove up in front of the emergency entrance. He opened my door, and helped me out since my only hand was occupied with keeping a bloody cloth on my forehead. We walked into the waiting room, and up to a desk.
"Ok we'll get someone to look at your head as soon as we can."
"Ok." I said and sat down on a chair. Joey left.

My coworker walks up to me, "You gotta patient ready for you, Jen." I nod, "Thanks Casey." I walk out into the waiting room and look around. I look at the chart and smile at the weird coincidence, "Danny." I smile.

"Well who knew you'd be the nurse..." I said, I felt alittle light headed. The blood was dripping down my face. I smiled anyway though.

I bit my lip as she cleaned it. I felt the glass that was stuck move, it added more pain.

I lean forward and slowly pull the glass out. Piece by piece. "I'm really sorry." I wasn't kidding. I felt terrible for putting him through this horrible, pain-filled fate. "Almost done."

"Hey, I'm not scared cause of my head, I just hate hospitals." I said, I blinked trying to keep my eyes open. Blood was till coming out of my head, making me really dizzy to the point I'd pass out.
