I smile, "Oh yeah. Nikki! I'm getting married! Well, I just had a baby, so sorry if I didn't remember right away." I roll my eyes.

Docters and nurses pour through the door, pushing someone on a stretcher. I was surprised by the comotion. There were many yells and orders. I turned my head just in time to see a young girl on the stretcher, "I wonder what..." My life seems to freeze and go in slow motion as I realize that the pour girl they were taking in, was my own daughter, Belle.

I find it hard to breathe, "I gotta...there's...Belle!" I run out of the room and chase the stretcher. I suddenly can't hear anything and my vision blurrs. I'm holding onto reality by a string. Belle was that string. I'm pushed away by docters and nurses and simply reply, "She's my daughter!" I must have been screaming, because I was trying to say it loud enough for myself to hear. As they shove the stretcher into the emergancy room, they slam the door in my face. I pound on it once or twice and then just slide to my knees, "Belle..."

My eyes widened and I ran after him, catching up to him as the door was slammed shut. I felt myself wrap my arms around him from behind, as tears rolled down my face.
