The hospital

I shrugged, not trying to be mean. But I was really just trying to keep myself rom having a panic attack.

I stroke his hair. He still had it.

bic I closed my eyes, to dizzy and tired to keep them open.

I stoke his hair, "Its gonna be fine," I'm just trying to sooth him.

"Least I won't loose my hair." I mumbled, attempting to not let myself freak out.

Doctor: "OK, time to get this over with." He said, coming back into the room.

I bit my lip. Nope, I won't let this guy knock me out and then cut my arm off. again.

I hold Danny's hand tighter as the doctor come nearer.

I gripped her hand harder as the Doctor started doing that thing where he tells you exactly what he's gonna do. And then tell Jen that she has to leave so they can take me into the OR room. Which made me hold her hand even tighter.

I nod and look down at Danny, "...It's..." I sigh and kiss him quickly. I leave. There was nothing to say.

They practically had to force the antiseptic mask over my mouth and nose. This was not gonna go well... I thought to myself as my eyes finally closed.

I sit outside. I felt that familiar sickness in my stomach and the gouging sensation in my chest. I take a deep breath and put my face in my hands as the warm tears turn cold.

Nurse: "I don't think we should have started the surgery, the patient's heart rate is still crazy."

Doctor: "He was nervous. Of course his heart rate won't be its usual pace."

Nurse: "But he's asleep, its suppose to even out."

Doctor: "He's a vet, they're always different."

Nurse: "If you say so," She said, handing him a knife thingy.

OOC: "Knife thingy"...I feel safe. LOL
BIC: I take a deep breath and try to calm down. But I'd been present for my fair share of amputations and surgery's. I knew the sick things they were doing to him in there.

Doctor: "Shit, he's stopped breathing."

Nurse: "I told you so." She said, starting CPR, as more nurses and doctors ran in.

I watched them pile into the room. It was nothing I hadn't seen before. I take a deep breath and wait for them to tell me they couldn't save him. I would laugh in their faces, go home and make spaghetti.

ooc SPAGHETTI

bic: It took the doctors ten minutes to finally get my heart started again, and then another half hour to finish amputating my arm.

Doctor: "Go tell his wife we're finished, there were a few complications, but he should be waking up any minute now." He said to the nurse.

OOC: But Danny won't be there to eat it
BIC: I hear them speaking. The walls were so obnoxiously thin. That tone. That sickening tone. Like I don't already know his life is hanging by a thread.

bic: Nurse: She walked out into the waiting room, "Jen? Danny should be waking up in a little bit, he'll be a little groggy, and there was a few complications during the surgery, but he'll be fine." She told her.

I chuckle, "Sure he will, hun."

The poor nurse looked a little baffled at Jen's easiness at the situation, and then walked away.

Danny: Still passed out. The usual.

I go into the room and see Danny laying there. He might be dead. He might not be. Didn't really matter to me.

bic: Yep, still cant wake up yet.

OOC: Right? hahahaha
BIC: I sigh and lean against the wall, "You alive, buddy?"

Danny: "Gahh uhhh yeah I think so." I mumbled painfully, not really bothering to ask why Jen was in Iraq with me..... oh wait nope this is a hospital. Where the hell is my arm? Why can't I feel my arm? And why the hell can't I see? Oh wait, my eyes are closed, I wondered, having a million thoughts cross through my mind at once. I'm so freaking lame.

"How'd ya sleep?"

"Terrible, I think I almost died." I said, sitting up, feeling the familiar sting on my chest from the defibrillator pad thingys. 'Don't look at your arm, don't look at your arm.' I thought at myself. 'DON'T FREAKING DO IT.'
