"I'M LOVED TO RIGHT?!" Devon asked, loudly. I burst out laughing, "i love you more, Devon." i said, taking her into my arms.

I smile, letting Aria have Devon. "I didn't realize how much I missed you until now!"

"same." i said, I looked at Alex, closer. He hadn't changed alot, like i thought he would have. I smiled. Devon climbbed out of my arms again, and hugged Alex's legs, and here i thought she was the shy type.

I laugh and look down at my daughter. "She looks like you." I gasp and look up, "I have Emma tonight! Oh hold one!" I take out a cell phone and dial Jennifer's number.

I smile and shrug. "I guess she's sort of the Alexander type...if that's even a type." I say as I wait for her to pick up. Jennifer picks up the phone, "Hey Jen." I say, "Is it alright with you if I pick up Emma tomorrow morning instead of tonight? Nah, I just ran into some friends. Okay good. Thanks." I hang up the phone, "Well, looks like I'm Emma free!"

"i see you figured things out with jennifer." i said, noticing that he was allowed near emma, again. "how old is emma?" i asked.

"She's 9 now. And yeah, that's how it works. I get Emma every other week, although it really doesn't make a difference since Jennifer lives a few doors down from me. I get Emma, but Jennifer keeps Cody. Cody's not my kid."

"Yeah really." I chuckle, "Who knows what happened to him. One day he just left. But she's doing alright for herself." I walk closer to Aria, "So...can I...kiss you."

i held on to him, and for a moment it felt like i was back at camp. then of course the fire alam has to go off. i pulled back. "Crap, i forgot I was making dinner." i sighed.

I laugh and let her go. "It would suck if your house burnt down right now...like that time I lit my pants on fire."

I laughed, hearing devon cry, becasue of the fire alarm. "Get her? while I stop the burning." i didn't wait for an aswer. i ran into the kitchen and turned off the oven. so much for my pizza. There wasn't any actual flames just the smoke from the pizza, burning. I climbed up on a chair and turned off the smoke alarm.

Her lip quivvered, and she burried her head in his shoulder. After a while i managed to turn off the alarm.
