The hospital

I look at him, still kneeling next to him, "...Okay, okay it's almost over..."

I used my other arm to hit Alex. "Shut up! You freaking weirdo!" I said as the doctor announced he was done. "We'll get the results in an hour or so."

I smile when he hits me. I ruffle his hair, knowing it would only make him madder, and knowing there was nothing he could do, "You are very brave." I laugh.

"Gods your so annoying." I said, suddenly feeling to tired to hit him again, I moved away from his hand though, he was messing up my hair. I curled up on my side, holding my stomach.

"I'm very proud of you Danny!" I laughed harder.

"Shut up Alex. My head hurts." I mumbled, closing my eyes.

I sit in the chair near the bed, "Sorry kid I couldn't resist."

I ignored him, and kept my eyes close. An hour later the doctor came back in with the test results. With my luck I'm gonna end up needing surgery or something.
"Well you, Danny. Are one sick kid. You got yourself a case of Mono. It usually goes away on its own, but sometimes causes a person's spleen to swell and explode. Which is what your blood test is showing. So we're going to put you through a small surgery to fix up your spleen than you should be good as new." The doctor said. My eyes just widened, hell no. hell no. I glanced at Alex.

My eyes widen, "Uhm, if I may interrupt for a second. Is there any other way this could be fixed?"

"Nope. There are no medicines to fix a spleen that has exploded." The doctor said. My eyes stayed open wide. I wanted Aria, and Jen.

"Okay uh....I uh...Danny I'm...I have to make a phone call." I leave the room.

WIMP! He was gonna leave me alone! I sighed, and curled back up on my side.

A minute later I come back in, "Yeah sorry Danny, uh Jen says tey can't come right away, it has something to do with diapers and Eean and a broken window-I don't know. But they'll be here as soon as they can."

I laughed. Eean broke a window. "Ok." I said, tiredly. The doctor glanced at us. "We'll start getting you ready for surgery then." The doctor said. I gulped, as he handed me one of those hospital gowns. "You can change in the bathroom right there, then it'll be at the least 20 minutes to set up the surgical room."

I look down at him, actually really worried.

I sighed, i climbed down from the bed, and wobbled into the bathroom. The hospital clothes were to big on me, i had to roll the sleeves up so i could open the door again. I climbed back into the bed, shaking again from the pain in my stomach.

"Look at you," I smiled, "Cutie pie..." I pause, "Sorry, you look very manly."

I groaned, not caring right now. I shivered, and hoped Aria, Jen and Eean would get here soon.

I sigh, "Hey I know it scary. Surgery is scary. For anyone, not just you. But you're brave...You've twisted my arm and smacked my head enough times for me to know that."

Danny: I frowned, "yeah, when I was older. I don't have those memories yet."

Aria: i walked in followed by Eean. "Hey Danny!" I said, in a soft, but happy voice.

Jen: I come in and smile, "Danny!!"
Alex: "Good. Everyone's here."

Danny: I smiled. Then the doctor came back in and announced that it was time to put me under those drugs that make you sleep. "Uhhh..." I said, getting scared again.

Alex: "Aw you're not afraid of taking pills too, are you?"
Jen: "Silly Alex, that's not how you make a child-" I turn to Danny, "A younger patient, I mean. That's not how you persuade a younger patient to swallow a pill."

Aria: i sighed.

Danny: i narrowed my eyes at Alex. "No." I said, before the doctor handed me the two pills. I took them, and then decided I was scared of them, when I felt myself falling asleep almost instantly. I bit my lip, nervously.

Eean: i laughed, and ruffled Danny's hair, making him glare, before he fell asleep completely.

Alex: I lean back in my chair and let out  sigh of relief, "Poor kid."
