The hospital

Jen: I nodded, not saying anything because I didn't want me voice to shake.

Danny: I grabbed Jen's hand tightly, as we walked up to the room.

I go with him, taking a deep breath.

Danny: The doctor opened the door to the room, and i sat down on the bed.

Doctor: "Ready?" He asked, taking an IV needle and bag that had gross looking yellow stuff in it.

Danny: "Yep." I said, holding out my arm. I don't think I've ever willingly let someone stick a needle in my arm before. Guess there's a first for everything.... The doctor stuck it into my arm, and I watched the gross stuff flow through the needle into my arm. "Ew." I commented, before starting to feel dizzy.

Jen: I smile and hold back a giggle.

Doctor: "Everyone's bodies take to the chemo differently. You might feel sick, or dizzy, sometimes really tired."

Danny: "What if you feel all three?" I asked, turning on my side.

Doctor: "Then I'd say i think its working."

Jen: "Pain I good this time, honey."

Danny: "Still don't like it." I mumbled, squeezing her hand tighter.

"I know." I push the hair from his face, "It's gonna be okay."

Danny: I moaned, holding my stomach with the arm that didn't have the needle in it.

Doctor: "We'll keep him over night, and then he can go home, but he'll probably be really tired and feel sick, and he'll have to come back for the second dose of treatment in a week."

Danny: "When's my hair gonna fall out?" I asked.

Doctor: "Probably by the end of the month."

Jen: "Danny, it's gonna be fine!"

Danny: "Not if I loose my hair."

Aria: "Only you would care more about your hair......" I said, rubbing his shoulder gently.

Danny: "So your telling me, that if your hair was possibly going to fall out you wouldn't hair at all."

Aria: "Danny, you spent five years in the marines with your head shaved."

Danny: "But i wasn't completely bald!" I said, then moaned.

Jen: "Danny, I'm sorry to have to do this, but you sound like Alex right now."

Danny: I glanced at her. "I do not."

Aria: "Yes you do."

Danny: "NO I DON'T!" I said, closing my eyes forcing myself not to throw up.

Jen: "Only Alex would care this much about his hair," I whisper in a sweet voice.

Danny: "Not uh..." I said glancing at her.

Aria: "Speaking of which, should I tell them what's going on?" I asked.

Jen: "Sure, that's be good."

Aria: "Ok." I said, getting up to leave the room. I walked down to the waiting room, where Nikki and Alex were.

Jen: I look down at him and stroke his hair

Danny: "How much longer does this have to stay in?" I asked.

Doctor: "Still got an hour, kid." He said.

Danny: "I moaned."

Aria: "Alex?" I asked, walking into the waiting room, hoping they were still there.

Alex: Nikki and I were arguing about something. I look up, "Hey sweetums."
Nikki: I roll my eyes.

Aria: i sighed. "Alex, Nikki. Should probably let you guys in on whats going on with Danny."

Nikki: "Devine."
Alex: "I told you not to say that, it sounds terrible!!"
Nikki: I start cracking up.
Alex: "I despise you."
Nikki: "Shh, what's going on?" I ask Aria.

Aria: i sighed, there was no easy way to do this. "The reason Danny passed out, is because his white blood cell count was to low..... And that means he has cancer...." I said, half under my breath.

Nikki: "F*ck, he has what? Bloody f*cking hell..." I sit back down.
Alex: "Has this happened before?"
