Samara's Apartment

I set down my keys, and threw out my cigarette. I went to the sink to wipe my blade, and I let it disappear. I tried to sit down on the couch, but I missed hitting the ground. "Gods," I said out loud as I got up, rubbing my butt, "You would think that after 6 years, I've finally gotten used to the eye patch."

I heard a knock on he door, and straightened my necklace, smoothing down my plaid skirt. I walked to the door, and opened it, seeing Rachel. It had been years since I had talked to her, and I gasped with surprise. I saw two little ones that had to be hers, and I let out a cry of joy. "Rachel! Come in! It's been years!"

I hugged her, and ushered her to a seat. "And who are these cute ones?"

I waved at Sammy, and then at Gracie. "Hi there, I'm Samara." I felt my eye patch. "I hope my eye patch won't be scaring them."

I laughed, and hugged her again. "Who's the father?"

My eyes widened, "Oh my gods." I sat down. "Does he know?"

I blinked, "Lost contact?!" I stood up. "Rach," I shook my head, and sat back down. "Never mind that. They are both two beautiful children, and that's what matters. So where do you work?"

My eye widened. "I am learning to be a doctor! I was planning on doing a semester working at the hospital, practicing as a nurse!" I smiled wide.

I nod, and look at the kids, shaking my head, "Had any monsters on your trail since you left?"

I nodded. "Like every ally I turn into, it's either a mugger or monster. I don't mind the muggers, because they are like bug underneaths one shoe, but the monsters could be a piece of work sometimes."

"Wow." I said

I looked over at her kids. "They might be second generation, but have they experienced anything yet?"

I nodded, and suddenly I heard something bang on my window. "What the-" I jumped up, and walked to my window. I gasped, as I saw a hell hound pawing at it. I had remembered. I had killed it and its family some years before back at camp. In a stern voice, I said, "Rach, get the kids in my room, and in my closet now."

I pulled ares from thin air right as the dog broke the window, and ran inside. Thank gods I lived on the bottom floor. I ran for the dog's tail, "Take the face, I'll get the behind!" I cried, jumping on the dogs back and slashing at it's hind legs.
