I push the doors open and tell the lady at the counter that I need to get in right now.
I look down at Callie as she opens her eyes. I just...didn't feel anything. I always thought that people who thought they weren't 'kid people' just never found the right kid...but maybe I really wasn't.
I pull Danny into the closest room.

I get pulled into a room. I sit down, and blinked trying to keep my eyes opened
Because there was no one to stop me, I started up my game of asking a ton of questions at Shawn. I sat in a chair, swinging my legs back and forth.

I sit next to Gale, still holding Callie. I try to answer all his questions, "I don't know, I don't have an opinion on Gorillas." I wasn't sure why he asked me that. Most of the questions made sense up until that one.

I really hoped the doctor came in soon, I couldn't keep my eyes open for too long.

I stick some needles into Danny and lay him down. The doctor comes in.

"Danny, for crying out loud, your head is splitting!" I sigh and lift his head and put a towel under it.

"Ohh..." I mumbled. Honestly, I had no clue it was bleeding. It didn't even hurt that bad.
"What's that about?" I ask.

"Well, that head is split right open," says the doctor, "We're gonna need to take him down to the emergency room and get that stitched up."
"Oh for God's sake, Caroline," I say, talking to the doctor, "You think I don't know his head's open? Go ahead, tell me his head's open. How much time could we have saved if we didn't bring him in here just so you could say his head was open?"
"Okay, well then let's get him outta here. geez." I help Jennifer push the bed out of the room.
I look at Gale, the small child next to me, "Uh...it's about a bunch of idiots that fight each other in a prison...but it's a secret."

I just sighed.

I take a deep breath, "They keep it a secret, Gale. The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club. Believe it or not, those are the other two rules as well."
We bring Danny into the emergency room and I stick a needle in him. "Danny, I need you to take this." I hand him a big white pill.

I took the pill, and after a few seconds of staring at it, I swallowed it.
"That movie sounds bad." I comment, before sticking my tongue out at him.

I glare at him from the side of my eye, not turning my head to look. "Yeah well...It'll be a year or two till you're even allowed to see it."
"You should be out any second," I say to Danny.
