I glared at him, but it wasn't noticeable because I started coughing.
"You ok?" I asked him.
I nodded, then glared at Alex. For some reason I couldn't decide if I should hate him, or be scared of him.

"Funny. Cause I wish I didn't." I say not amused at all. I got up from where I was sitting and walked into the kitchen, where Eean was eating out of the refrigerator.
"What?"
I shrugged.

I looked at the wall. I had no idea the stuff I did was that bad.
I go to Danny and get on my knees. I put my arm around him and brush the hair from his face, "It's okay, Danny. He can't hurt you anymore. He's nice now." I flashback to high school, sitting in the hallway, comforting a crying Danny.

"Wait.... That time you said you walked into a pole, and gave yourself a broken nose....." I said,
I clung to Jen, and nodded.
"The night we left Seattle and you had an actual heart attack... Alex caused that? Alex caused you to be set months behind for your heart transplant?" I asked, my voice growing more calm than usual.
I nodded again, still crying.

"Danny, calm down." I say, "I know Alex hurt you a lot in high school but he's different now."

I moved as far away from him as possible, without leaving Jen's arms. I couldn't breathe as it was.
"Eean, go see if you can ind his old inhaler somewhere." I say, figuring it would keep Eean from killing Alex. I knelt down next to Danny and Jen. "Danny ya gotta calm down."
I shook my head, I was trying to, but I couldn't.

I finally calmed down, but I didn't let go of her.
I came back into the kitchen, and kneeled down, I pulled Danny's arm off Jen, and pushed his inhaler into his hand. I didn't know if it would be effective or not. It was outdated.
I used it, but nothing came out. I shook it. Empty. I buried my head into Jen's shoulder again.
